Blood angels Drop pod is done!!!

I finally finished the drop pod :D my only disappointment was that I couldn't get the doors to line up better :( but any ways here it is.

I did a bit of a scorched effect on the bottom it didn't show up to great on the photos.

Space Marine/ Blood Angel Captain!!! :D

Drop pod update! Finished Kill-Kan!

Hey, guys I had a lot of problems making the doors line up, and after trying multiple times, I wasn't able to make it perfect but it it does fit better, looks a bit crooked tho.

As you can see I had to use green stuff to feel the cracks from ripping it apart multiple times :S once everyting is painted I'm thinking I'll apply a scorching effect with my airbrush from the bottom :D

After I messed up on the drop pod I took a break from it for a bit and started on some other projects I finished my Killa Kan.

I tried to convert him a bit so he look like he was running!

just sitting side ways with his crew the few bad moon orks I painted up :D

I also started on a new Captain for my Blood Angels army it was my first time repositioning the legs I'm not too happy with the way I sculpted the vents but I figure with practice I'll get better here are some pictures after around an 1- 1.5 of painting

More on the Drop pod!!!

So I got quite a bit done today, but I'm worn out so I'm done for today here are some pictures of how its coming along.

I dry fitted it together for some pictures, most the doors are finished

As you can see I have much to do still :S
I'm gonna use gimiak's rusty gold tutorial for the uprights.
I'm trying to have it done for the weekend, I'm having game and I want to use it :D

Here are all the guys I have left to do, most are from christmas some I picked up a bit before the holiday, as you can see I have a lot of work ahead of me, I also just ordered a bunch of blood angel's characters and some of the new skavens :)

Drop pod WIP!!

Hey guys here is the update!

I just threw it together with sticking tack to get a feel for how its looking
and I'm pretty excited with how its coming along :D

I did some highlighting on this door and painted up the emblem still have to put some weathering on emblem so it don't stand out so much.

Some fancy hazard stripes :)

I magnetized the guns!

This emblem is gonna be throw on the door

This killa kan is almost done, got the shoulder pads and a few touch ups left.

Ork WIP's!!

  If you haven't already noticed I like to have a lot of projects on the go!

This Warboss is gonna be my entry to girlpainting's competition I need to get a move on or he an't gonna make the entry date :S

Here is my killa kan with his other arm connected I still have to do weathering, some blood effect and paint up the shoulder pads.  Pictures of the finished project should be up some time soon :D

Blood Angels Drop Pod progress!!

  Been putting some time in on my Blood Angels Drop pod I've been trying some new techniques with my air brush! The first one is weathering with Hairspray and salt and the second is just pre shading with the airbrush I'll set up a link.
